How To Get Involved - Giving

The world is hungry, a hunger that only the Word of God can satisfy. You can help to bring the Word of God to people in Scotland by supporting Precept Ministries Scotland. A regular gift of as little as £5 a month can work miracles in the Lord’s hands - after all, He fed 5,000 with five loaves!

Our Operating Strategy

Precept is a 'give-away' ministry, seeking to equip people with the tools to get to know God personally through studying His word. So, minimising operating costs is a vital consideration, to ensure that our limited resources are channelled into 'front-line' ministry. One practical way in which this is achieved currently is by locating the office and book-store in the National Coordinators' home!

Funding the Ministry!

Funding the Ministry

In order of magnitude, funds to run the ministry come from:

Because we seek to make study materials and training as affordable as possible, and hence work to tight financial margins, charitable donations remain an absolutely vital source of income for the ministry.

The 'Gift Fund'

One very practical way in which we seek to make study materials and training available to all, regardless of individual ability to pay, is by maintaining a dedicated fund through which the cost of materials and training can be partly or wholly subsidised for those in straightened circumstances. If you wish to designate a gift for this purpose, please phone or email us, as otherwise donations are directed into the Operating Fund.

Tax-Efficient Giving

Precept Ministries Scotland is a registered Scottish charity (Charity No. SC039093) - click here to see our entry in the Scottish Charity Register. So, if you are a tax payer, we can reclaim tax on your gift - click here for a Gift Aid Declaration Form. (Please note that there is no need to do this for on-line donations made via the Charity Choice or Big Give websites - see below.)

Online Giving!

Giving by Standing Order, Online Bank Transfer, Cheque or Cash
