2 PETER: ESCAPE - How to be kept from falling

A fisherman by trade, Peter had been captured and transformed by the Great Shepherd. In Peter’s darkest hour, the welfare of God’s sheep was uppermost in his mind. Truth is truth. Error is not. 2 Peter offers us a safety line for those in danger of believing a lie. Is there a danger that false teachers will arise amongst the church as in Peter’s day? How do we detect them? What is our protection and how do we remain firm in our faith? What do you need to do in order to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ? These and many other important issues will be our focus as we walk through 2 Peter.

Join us for exciting, engaging and practical Bible study using the Precept-Upon-Precept 2 Peter:

• Enjoy fellowship with others hungry to know God and His Word too.
• Leave equipped to know God better, empowered to make disciples and resourced for a transformed life.

In order to take part you will need to bring a Bible, pencil, and coloured pencils.

Daily timings:-

• Mon 11 Aug  1330-1700
• Tue 12 Aug    0900-1700
• Wed 13 Aug  0900-1300 with the afternoon free
• Thu 14 Aug   0900-1700
• Fri 15 Aug     0900-1300

Cost: for the week: £65 which includes all training materials, teaching, the venue and refreshments.

Accommodation & Meals:

Residential and full board accommodation is available - £40 per person per night. This would include:-

• Overnight accommodation
• Self-service Breakfast
• Lunch
• Evening Meal

Rooms types available - Nine ensuite bedrooms - three doubles and six singles. Five other bedrooms which share two bathrooms between them:  one twin and four singles. (All rooms subject to availability)

Non-resident costs for the above meals would be £10 for the evening meal and £5 for lunch per person per day. 

Important Note: If you have selected yes to accommodation, lunch or evening meal during the checkout, Jan Goodall from the GLO centre will be in touch to arrange your bookings and dietary requirements. In addition, if booking for more than one person we will contact you for their details if required.
