How To Get Involved – By Giving
The world is hungry, a hunger that only the Word of God can satisfy. You can help to bring the Word of God to people in Scotland by supporting Precept Ministries Scotland. A regular gift of as little as £5 a month can work miracles in the Lord’s hands – after all, He fed 5,000 with five loaves!
Our Operating Strategy
Precept is a ‘give-away’ ministry, seeking to equip people with the tools to get to know God personally through studying His word. So, minimising operating costs is a vital consideration, to ensure that our limited resources are channelled into ‘front-line’ ministry. One practical way in which this is achieved currently is by locating the office and book-store in two of our volunteers homes!
Funding the Ministry
Funding the Ministry comes from:
- Regular donations.
- Income from the sale of Precept inductive Bible study resources & tools.
- One-off donations.
- On-the-day gifts from attendees at Precept training courses (we do not charge for these courses, so usually make a loss!).
We seek to make study materials and training as affordable as possible, and work to tight financial margins, hence, charitable donations remain an absolutely vital source of income for the ministry.
